Putin is standing for truth, justice and dignity
Moscow. Vladimir Putin, is the Kremlins official party candidate for the Presidential elections on the 4th March 2012. On Sunday, the party congress of “United Russia” voted with 100 percent unity for Putin.

There was no doubt that the Kremlin party would obey the wishes of their chairman Vladimir Putin. That there were no abstentions at the secret vote is nevertheless remarkable.
Putin promised, in his keynote speech to the party, political continuity. Any decision must serve the best interests of the majority of people. Russia has always been united around his traditional values - truth, dignity and justice. These are his guiding principles in both domestic and foreign politics, even if this does not please everyone in the world.
Putin promised among other things a tax on luxury and the rich. It is immoral and illegal to hide money and stocks in offshore companies (which has become a habit of two thirds of all Russian Oligarchs - point made by the editor).
The current President, Dmitry Medvedev, who will become Prime Minister on Putin's entry into the Kremlin, promised political openness, decentralization of administration and strengthening of the Russian regions by redistribution of tax revenues.
One of the most important tasks is the building of a "new union" with former Soviet republics. He hopes that the union with Belarus and Kazakhstan other nations will join, said Medvedev. The new union will create an enormous market for Russian goods and an area of collective security.
According to Medvedev, there is no other team in Russia but the Kremlin party, the President and the government that could lead the country through crises and shocks.
